Greetings!
✧ Margo Beglaryan is a Los Angeles–based award-nominated Animation Director, Story Artist, and CG Artist specializing in storyboarding, previs/layout, and CG design, with a strong foundation in 2D, 3D, and stop-motion animation.
She earned her MFA in 3D Animation & Visual Effects from the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles, where she currently works as a 3D Animation Technical Assistant. She also teaches 3D Previsualization & Animation at TUMO Los Angeles and is an active member of Women in Animation (WIA), contributing as a designer for social media and promotional content.
Margo directed and animated her traditional 2D short film, The Last Dance, which was nominated for Best Animated Short at Academy Award® and BAFTA-qualifying festivals.
She has also worked as a Story Artist and Animator on an independent 3D animated short alongside professionals from DreamWorks Animation and participated in a Women in Animation Mentorship Circle as a Story Artist and Character Designer.
Working across 2D, 3D, stop-motion, and hybrid animation, Margo brings experience throughout the production pipeline, including storyboarding, visdev, modeling, texturing, rigging, previs/layout, animation, motion capture, and lighting. Her multidisciplinary background allows her to approach storytelling from both creative and technical perspectives, developing visually compelling stories from early concepts through final production.
